River Shelters 1, 2 and 3
As part of the Nature’s Classroom curriculum students collect aquatic specimens from the Hillsborough River. Following their river collection activities, the students gather at the River Shelter to observe these organisms using microviewers. The River Shelter is a covered pavilion that provides small group seating arrangements that allows students to work together in teams to identify, categorize, and record data in order to determine the health of the river.
